2012 Santa Fe Ski Vacation Package
New Mexico's landscape is made up of desert and mesa, but it's also a mountainous region, which means prime skiing territory. With the 2012 Inn At Santa Fe Ski Vacation Package, you can experience some of the highest elevation skiing in the United States. This special hotel package includes two lift tickets to Ski Santa Fe, a resort just 24 miles from Santa Fe in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The December 2010/January 2011 issue of Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel magazine states that's Ski Santa Fe may be the most blissfully undervalued mountain in the Southwest.

This has been spectacular year for winter sports at Ski Santa Fe and spring skiing and snowboarding promise to be outstanding due to more than a 64-inch base with 170 inches of snow having fallen over the course of the season. You will be feel as though you are on top of the world! Don't have your own ski gear? Not a problem. Rentals of skis, boots, poles, and snowboards for all ages are available at the resort.
With the shift to Daylight Savings Time, the area has altered its hours of operation: Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the lower lifts and from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on the upper lifts. Ski Santa Fe usually closes in early April 1st but will stay open if conditions permit. Check the website, http://www.skisantafe.com, for a firm closing date. Do remember however that there is plenty of snow at the highest elevations allowing snowshoers and cross-country skiers several more weeks of fun.
